Why is it so important to correct your posture?
Simply put, your posture is your body's foundation, and if it's weak you can expect aches, pains, and injuries over time.
As nurses, we all know that we're on our feet all day. Lifting, moving, running, etc.
When your posture is weak, your body is unable to prevent the wear and tear on it. And for us, unfortunately that wear and tear is particularly damaging because of our incredibly demanding workload.
50-80% of nurses report moderate to severe back or neck pain at LEAST once their career. This costs money, stress, aggravation, and a lot more. This also means the chances of this happening to you are very high - unless you do something about it now!
As a nurse - you need a strong, healthy body, so you can live a long caring career! But fortunately, that's what we're here for!
