How long does my order take to arrive?
Over 90% of our nurses in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the UK and Europe get their order within 5-12 business days. Depending on demand and the shopping season, on rare occasion they may take 12-18 business days to arrive at your doorstep. Please understand this before you order, and please be patient - we're very confident you'll love it!
What is blue light?
Your body naturally responds to blue light for regulation of your sleep-wake cycle.
The problem is that artificial, High Energy Visible (HEV) blue light emits from most electronics you're exposed to, like LED lights, TV, computers, phones and tablets.
HEV blue light has shorter wavelength than other colors in the visible spectrum causing light to scatter outward, decrease contrast and strain your eyes.
This has been proven by Harvard University The Sleep Foundation, The American Journal of Epidemiology, and many more!
Symptoms of over exposure to blue light include blurry vision, difficulty focusing, dry and irritated eyes, eyestrain poor sleep, and even issues like weight gain and dry skin.
In fact, blue light related complaints, specifically digital eyestrain, has now carpal-tunnel syndrome as the biggest computer related complaint!
Do the glasses magnify anything?
Only the Readers do. The rest are only there for blue light protection so they can be worn by anyone, with or without a prescription!
Can the glasses be worn over contacts?
It may sound a little funny to wear glasses over your contacts, but it actually makes sense - because our glasses are for blue light protection only, and you may want to take them off several times throughout your shift. Many of our nurses do this and they say it works great for them!
Are you releasing prescription glasses?
Unfortunately we do not have plans to release prescription glasses at this time, but if you follow us on Facebook or Instagram (see the Follow Us on the bottom of the page) you'll be the first to know if/when we do!
How are the lenses clear if they filter blue light?
With our own specialized blue light filtering technology, we are able to make lenses clear while filtering as much blue light as possible. Our lenses often appear slightly blue on the outside, since they are deflecting blue light, but as the wearer they are perfectly clear. This is a stark contrast to blue light filtering glasses that are dark orange, which you would never want to wear around at work, and those which appear clear but don't use our technology and thus don't actually filter out much blue light at all!
What's the difference between the Night Shifter and your other glasses?
All of our glasses do an excellent job of blocking out the majority of harmful blue light. We recommend you choose the frame that you like the most!
Do I need to be a Night Shift nurse to wear the Night Shifter glasses?
No! The blue light problem is a problem for all nurses - day or night shift. Despite the name they are perfect for day shift as well!
Do I have to be a nurse to wear these?
No, you don't. We are a nursing store, but if you're not a nurse we're very happy to help you out with our glasses as well! EMTs, doctors, dentists, teachers, photographers, the list goes on and on of different professions who have told us our products have helped them! They also make excellent gifts to both nurses and non-nurses!
Will the Babe Brace weaken my back muscles?
No it will not! Our Babe Brace is an aid that helps your muscles maintain the correct posture, acting as a constant reminder to your and your muscles that keep your posture straight. Your muscles will develop over time to maintain the better posture that you've developed!
Will the Babe Brace pinch my arms or shoulders?
Only if you're wearing it too tight or your shoulders are too rounded! If it feels tight, loosen the straps to your comfort level and pull your shoulders back! If you are slouching, it will become uncomfortable, forcing you to keep your shoulders back to regain comfort. It is the perfect way to strengthen your muscles to develop long term healthy posture!
How long can I wear the Babe Brace?
Your body will not be used to your new position, so it will take some time. Many see great results in their posture in a week, and it often takes 2-5 weeks to see true long term results. Stop wearing it as soon as it becomes uncomfortable; take a break and wear it again. Don't wear it to bed. Most of our customers achieve great success wearing it 1-2 hours at a time.
What size of the Babe Brace is right for me?

Normally I have 8-9 patients that I have to chart every shift, my eyes feel dry and really tired after charting, reading orders, pt hx, physician notes, ... for 12 hours and making sure there’re no errors, and I’m night shift, so that’s even worse. Sometimes I can’t even open my eyes at 0500 after 3-4 nights in a row. The glasses fit perfectly, not slides down to my nose or not causes any headache. My eyes feel much better.
- Van, The Night Shifter
I am a senior nursing student and I have struggled with headaches at clinical ever since I started nursing school. At first, I attributed them to not eating enough protein or drinking enough water (or coffee) but after fixing both of those things I still got headaches. These glasses were my last ditch effort thinking they were caused by eye strain. The 9 shifts I've worn them so far I only got 1 headache and it was my first day using them so I figured it was because my eyes were trying to get used to them. They look incredible, I wear them even when I'm not working on the computer. There is a noticeable blue glare but I've gotten over that because it basically cured my headaches lol. GREAT purchase! And I'm thinking of ordering another pair in a different color once I have some money to spend!
- Laura W, The Night Shifter
Never thought I'd ever say I was obsessed with socks! Hahaha! These are REALLY cute and they are comfortable and snug and really make my feet feel more energetic during my shifts!! Plus I've noticed a lot less foot pain as well! If you're on the fence, buy a few pairs and thank me later!!!
- Joanna H, The Nurse's Only Compression Socks
Amazing!! I'm a 34DDD and I get pain in my shoulders and neck after too much time charting at work. And sometimes I get back pain from standing on my feet too long. I put this on and instantly....ahhhhhh!!! I wear it everyday now. It goes right under my clothes and over my bra. No chafing pinching or discomfort. AND NO UGLY VISIBLE BRACE!!! 5 stars for sure. I'm ordering another in nude.
